Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using InventAI, you agree to these terms. If you're using InventAI on behalf of an organization, you're agreeing on its behalf and confirming you have the authority to do so.

The service

InventAI is an AI-assisted platform for taking an invention from a plain-English description through engineering, electronics, CAD, and simulation workflows. It is a design and drafting aid, not a substitute for professional engineering, legal, or manufacturing review.

AI-generated content

Content generated by InventAI — including engineering suggestions, electronics component lists, CAD geometry, and simulation results — is produced by AI models or, where noted, real closed-form engineering calculations run on simplified inputs. None of it is certified engineering analysis. You are responsible for independently verifying anything you rely on before manufacturing, publishing, or acting on it.

Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

Acceptable use

• Don't use InventAI for anything illegal, or to infringe someone else's intellectual property.
• Don't attempt to circumvent usage limits, AI credit metering, or billing.
• Don't attempt to extract, resell, or abuse another workspace's AI provider keys or data.
• Don't use the service to generate content intended to harm people or property.

Bringing your own AI provider key

If you add your own API key for an AI provider (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, or DeepSeek), that key is used only for your workspace's requests. You're responsible for your own agreement and costs with that provider — InventAI is not a party to it, and once you've added a key we stop using our own platform key for your workspace so we don't bill you twice.

Billing and AI credit

New workspaces get a small starting AI credit balance for platform-key usage, based on real token costs. If you add a payment card and your balance runs out, we'll automatically charge that card in $5 increments to keep platform AI generation working — only while you're actively using it, and only up to your card's available funds. You can avoid all platform AI charges by bringing your own provider key instead. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

Your content

You own the invention data, designs, and content you create in InventAI. You grant us a license to store, process, and display it back to you as needed to operate the service — nothing more.

Termination

You can stop using InventAI at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including sustained abuse of AI credit or another workspace's data.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

InventAI is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. AI-generated and calculated outputs may contain errors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, InventAI is not liable for decisions made or actions taken based on content generated through the platform, including manufacturing, financial, or legal decisions.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
